✍ How to change default email account in Mac OS X Snow Leopard Mail ✍ 8:32:10 AM CDT

Change the "Send new messages from" drop down selection box to your desired default mail account. I would have expected this option to appear in a more intuitive place, such as "General" or "Accounts", but actually it's in the "Composing" pane of the Mail preferences.
